Gloucester Coal - Processing Operations

Run Of Mine (ROM) coal from the Gloucester Mining Operations is processed at the centralised Stratford Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). The CHPP blends ROM coals for processing to produce the suite of Gloucester Coal products. All product coal is transported by rail; to Newcastle for export or the New South Wales Power Stations.

  • Two stage 475 t/hr plant
  • Primary circuit - Coking; DMC/Spirals/TBS/Flotation
  • Secondary circuit - Thermal; DMC/Spirals
  • Efficient and cost effective plant suited to Gloucester Basin coals
