Mining Operations & Locations
GCL has two mining operations in the Gloucester Geological Basin, Stratford and Duralie. The company also holds Coal exploration licenses A311, A315 and EL6904 which cover a large proportion of the Basin and include a number of known coal deposits.
In the NSW Hunter region Gloucester Coal's mining operations are based in the Newcastle Coalfield, approximately 25 kilometres from Newcastle and Port Waratah. Here production is sourced from three mines; Donaldson Open Cut and the Tasman and Abel underground mines.
